About Diego Andrés David Flórez

I am a Forest Engineer (2015) with a Master's Degree in Forests and Environmental Conservation (2024). I have experience in both the public and private sectors. Specializing in spatial data management, database construction, and statistical analysis of flora data, biomass, and carbon estimation. My experience includes conducting forest inventories in both natural forests and forest plantations. Additionally, I have conducted dendroecology research in the Chocó biogeographic region, known as the rainiest place on Earth. I am driven by a constant curiosity and passion for learning about plants and trees.I currently work as a project consultant in LATAM and Africa. My daily activities round afforestation, reforestation and revegetation projects.
