Diego is a Civil Engineer who graduated from the Private University Antenor Orrego (UPAO). He has over nine years of experience in geotechnical engineering, quality control (QC) supervision, and quality assurance (QA) supervision for projects involving leach pads, process ponds, dumps, tailings dams, and more. His expertise includes the geotechnical design of civil and mining works, and he has planned and conducted geotechnical investigations for the design of mining structures such as earth dams, access roads, waste deposits, leach pads, and dumps. His experience also encompasses the execution of field and laboratory tests. Additionally, he has led and participated in geotechnical studies, slope stability analyses, infiltration analyses, liquefaction potential assessments, and numerical modeling.Diego has worked on various mining projects, including Antamina, Raura, Toromocho, Coimolache, Uchucchacua, San Gabriel, Pucamarca, Inmaculada, El Toro, Atacocha, Sinaycocha, and El Porvenir.
