I am a life enthusiast, eager to study Nature in all of its forms.My academic background has a well-rounded basis in ecology, covering the theoretical milestones as well as the conservation issues.Since my MSc Thesis project I have dedicated my career to the High Throughput Sequencing data analysis. Thanks to international collaboration I have developed advanced skills in metagenomics: I have characterized microbial communities in several environments with bioinformatic tools and multivariate statistics.Working in High Performance Computing (HPC) environments and following the open science practices according to the FAIR standards are my most distinctive features.
