Main Professor for the BIM Workshop at the Universidad de Montevideo

Andres Garcia (Constructora Buenaventura Owner) contact me for the development of a template in ARCHICAD exclusively for fast Quantity Take off (One of LHO owners, Ignacio Bonifacino, show him BIMx, just that). So, the result, a template based on Uniformat II, Masterformat 2016 and ARCHICAD own classification system that easily can handle all material take off for small residence buildings.

A small group of 3 Architects joined forces with 2 more colleagues for an ARCHICAD training. This opportunity, i teach them how to generate a project in ARCHICAD for documentation and coordination purposes. We see all main tools of the software and also teach them how to generate their own content for improving the template (design initially by me).

Revit training and preparation for Mechanical modeling (ductwork and fire fighting installation), focus on fabrication planification.I had the opportunity to work with the team on the Antel Arena project with the fire fighting installation modeling, where we achieve: bill of quantities, fabrication and assembly documentation.

This time i was called by Christian Preller from SOCOVESA, his team needed some special label for MEP Piping in ARCHICAD, this special object required GDL Scripting for labeling Diameter, Slope Direction and System.
