About Diego Cisterna
Civil Engineer graduated from the University of Chile and Master of Science (MSc.) in infrastructure planning from the University of Stuttgart.My engineering specialization is structural design and project management. I have experience working as structural engineer, as project management consultant and as CEO of my own small business.Working as project management consultant in Chile, I received an intensive training in “Lean Management” and I worked applying Lean tools in different projects, detecting improvement opportunities and identifying waste of time and economic resources. In Germany I have continued working in this area, being part of the Lean Construction Management team at Drees & Sommer. My native language is Spanish, I speak fluent English and I have an advanced knowledge of German. I have strong computer skills, acquiring new software and working with it is no problem for me and happens quickly.I am a positive person, it is my firm belief that every goal can be reached by discipline, creativity and perseverance. Either as a leader or as part of a team, I am always open to share these values with others.In my spare time, I enjoy doing sports, visiting new places and discovering other cultures, as well as spending time with my family and friends.
