About Diego Cotella

An experienced and passionate cell & molecular biologist, with more than 20 years of research at the bench. From 2010 Professor at the Università del Piemonte Orientale (UPO). From 2012 my research interests are mostly focussed on long noncoding RNAs (lncRNA), with particular interest to the SINEUP family. I teach Cell Biology to BSc students in Healthcare Professions and to BSc and MSc students in Biotechnology. Other than Science, I enjoy hiking, playing the clarinet and directing the Phylarmonic band in my town.
