About Diego Del Moral

Exploring practices of systemic change and collective social innovation across Latin America. Immigrant. Cyclist. Cook.As a Mexican-Brazilian with 15 years of experience in the impact sector, I've worked in government to defend the human rights of Mexican migrants in the U.S., and launched (and learned from the failure of) two social enterprises in both the U.S. and Mexico. I also led a nonprofit in Mexico focused on advancing ESG practices in small and medium-sized enterprises.I've taught Social Entrepreneurship at ITESO, Tec de Monterrey, and Universidad de Guadalajara, and had the privilege of designing ITESO’s Social Innovation Lab.In 2018, I adopted a nomadic lifestyle and co-founded the Collective of Disruptive Design—a group of Latin American misfits dedicated to reshaping social change practices. We believe in unleashing change by prioritizing systemic health over quick fixes and redistributing value more equitably. Our frameworks draw from the synergy between systems and design thinking, we’re currently managing innovation portfolios across citizen security, early childhood, and leadership development throughout Latin America.Recently, the collective launched Matriz, a cooperative spinoff aimed at providing social safety nets for under-protected workers in the impact sector.

Listed skills include Public Relations, Human Rights, International Relations, Negotiation, and 12 others.
