Main responsibilities under my current position:• Financial Lead for the new Business Model presented to the Board of Directors and Regional Management Team, based on a prioritization of the portfolio to mitigate risks and improve business margins.• Ensure the control of expenses by applying financial analysis in order to be aligned with budget estimations in a highly complex market environment where volatility of prices and macroeconomic indicators vary widely. • Attend to the Regional Management team in Business reviews and Operating Plan Presentations locally and in NYHQ.• Review and manage the financial performance for four business units which operate in three different distribution channels with different business models and strategies and altogether have sales greater than $ 700 million. • Member of the Leadership Team for all the Business Units having as main responsibility the accurate financial performance of the business and suggest future strategies in order to meet targets and assure financial goals. • Manage the Financial Planning Team (five direct reports) which ensures timely and qualitative financial support to the business. • Present monthly reviews of the financial results to the Directory Board and suggest actions plans and strategies for the short and long run.• Responsible for the accurate execution of the Budget and forecasts process according to NYHQ guidelines

Below you will find some activities that I was responsible for as a Finance Controller• Lead the project of reviewing and updating the commercial agreements with main clients which impacted favorably the gross to net of the Business Unit by 8 percentage points making the business more profitable.• Attended to meetings with the Director of the Business Unit in order to evaluate the financial results of the business and develop future plans and strategies to meet financial targets.• Responsible for the Auditing Process regarding purchase orders and timely accruals of expenses. • Evaluated investment opportunities at the point of sales to boost sales and improve returns on investments by efficiently reducing expenses.
