• Responsible for the development and application of seminars with the aim of meeting the technical demands of clients and to provide training for FLSmidth staff;
• Appointed by the Regional Sales Head as the Zero Mission Ambassador, whose role is to be the link between the philosophy and solutions of the company and the clients in order to attain zero CO2 emissions by 2030;

• Responsible for the management of small, medium to large processing start-ups, which included complete cement plants, with investments on the order of USD$300m and the risk of daily losses of up to USD$100K;
• Managed multicultural and multidisciplinary teams numbering approximately 50 personnel within each phase of commissioning in order to attain full operational status, optimizing both the performance and profitability of.
• Principal clients: Votorantim, Lafarge, Holcim, Cemex, Pacasmayo, Brennand, Intercement, Vale. Relevant Projects:
• Troubleshooting at Diavik Diamantes, located in Yellowknife: The yield of the installation increased from 45% to 80%, increasing the production of diamonds by approximately 10%;
• Management of the commissioning in record time of the southernmost plant in the world, located in Pico Truncado, a project valued at approximately USD$100M, reducing the delivery time of the installation by two months.
• Management and commissioning of the most modern production line in Brazil. The project is located on the premises of Cimento Itambé, with investments on the order of USD$ Miliones.

• Responsible for the coordination of the recruitment and training of personnel for the implementation of the company’s new Processing Department;
• Directed, together with Grace Construction’s staff in the United States, the development of the first gel-based grinding additive;
• Responsible for founding the new processing department and the hiring and training of the entire technical and engineering staff;
• Responsible for the purchasing strategies of the measurement equipment, liaising with the procurement department;
• Directed the project for updating the furnace and clinker system as well as the coal grinding process;
• Principal communications link between the company’s managerial board, board of directors, and suppliers of cement technology for the identification of new projects and solutions for clients’ issues;

• Direct involvement in the company’s core processes, and, furthermore, promoted the management of equipment optimization projects;
• Responsible for the audits of the production process, executing the training of the company’s junior technicians and equipment operators;
• Execution of technical and informative presentations for the members of the Board;
• Responsible for the management of the grinding system optimization program, thereby bringing about the successful upgrade of the clinker cooling system.
