• Piloting nationalization of engines and assemblies, coordinating validation tests and modifications of components, considering the impact on interfaces;
• Responsible for the development of engine applying the concepts of PMI;
• Coordination of engine developments activities interacting with areas like: calibration, production process, costs, after-sales, quality, etc.
• Responsible for coordinating the engineer team.

• Coordinator of a team of components engineers for the upper part of the engine - including: Cylinder Head, Distribution (valve train) System, cooling and lubrication. Working with flex-fuel and gasoline spark ignition.
• Referential in Latin America and interlocutor of global discussions on the development of engine components.

• Responsible for component design based on performance, durability, cost and quality. Using tools such as AMDEC, D-FMEA, DOE. Responsible for review and approve the productive process of those components.
• Component validation through dynamometer benches tests and vehicles tests.
• Performing problem solving for quality issues in production engines using 8Ds, PDCA root cause analysis methodologies, 5 whys.

• Responsible of the engine parts: Cylinder Head, Cylinder Head Gasket, Camshaft, and general valve train parts
• Project of engine parts based on the performance, the durability, the cost and on the targets of the engine project.
• Production process audit/release of engine parts.
• Release of parts designs trough bench tests, dynamometric bench tests and vehicle tests.- Failure analyses engine and engine parts.

• Data acquisition and data analysis in competition cars Porsche GT3 models 997 e 991.
• Work with the driver to continual improvement to better the car performance on the race track;
• Softwares: Motec ADL2 e i2 (997) / Pi Toolbox e Pi Toolset (991)

Internship in the product engineering.Attendance the development of the following engine components: Piston, Piston rings, Bearings. Components for SI (Otto) and CI (Diesel) engines.Design software (CAD): CATIA V4, CATIA V5, Unigraphcs
