Chemical engineer with experience in process simulation and optimization. I have worked as a technical consultant at AspenTech, therefore I am proficient in software that provides great insight in the chemical industry. The scope of my knowledge includes chemical plant design for several unit operations and process equipment like heat exchangers, distillation columns and reactors; plant data management and its connection with process simulation for Real Time Optimization (RTO); Python and FORTRAN programming; custom models and artificial intelligence to leverage the benefits of having good amounts of data for enhancing the predictive capabilities of models. Currently pursuing a Master´s degree in Biorefining for producing energy, chemicals and materials from biomass to meet sustainability goals by reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to a circular economy.
