Hello! My name is Diego Cardenas and I am a business student planning on majoring in accounting. I am a frequent tennis player, basketball player, football fan, with a strong ambition to work in the sports world of business. I am motivated by my love for collaborating with people and driving team dynamics through my genuine desire to connect with others. With my knowledge, experiences, and skills, I am eager to apply them to real-world challenges and opportunities across a variety of industries. Currently, on campus I serve as a mentor on the Eller Leadership Board, ELB, where I foster mentorship to 8 first year students through various professional workshops, 2 case competitions, and volunteer work. I also work in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee for ELB where I enjoy creating and implementing strategies to foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and belonging among our diverse student population.
