As a Data Science Consultant I worked on the advanced analytics team at a spirits manufacturer (United States): • Owned multiple data science initiatives for the commercial and finance teams. • Developed business alerts (notifications and insights), pricing and forecasting tools on Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory pipelines. • Worked with client’s business teams to define requirements and improvements on existing tools. Our team owned several dashboards, used in all US markets.

Designed and implemented machine learning solutions in the following main projects, working together with client teams: • Promotional demand forecasting at large pharmacy store chain (United States).Implemented a model based on gradient-boosted trees to forecast demand for tens of millions of product-store combinations weekly, running on Azure Databricks and PySpark. • Pricing optimization tool at heavy machinery dealer (Dominican Republic).Developed a web-based analytics tool to evaluate different price scenarios and optimize machinery parts prices, based on demand elasticity models and including macro-economic features.

As a Technical Consultant I: • Acted as the technical interface between banks, payments processors and Thales, managing all technical activities for payment card issuance projects. • Coordinated internal teams (acting as project manager) including software development, sales, product management and production site teams to deliver client projects. • Defined product specifications, advising the client on the different available technologies in the digital payment industry.
