Welcome! I am Diego Martínez, an electronic engineer and software developer.Over the years of coding, I’ve discovered two things: the only constant in software is change, and to make code easy to change, it must be well-designed and tested. That’s why my focus as a developer isn’t just on implementing a feature that delivers value to the user, but on doing so in an iterative, scalable way with short development cycles. When building software, how the code is designed is crucial, as developers we should try to implement the simplest code that will allow us to iterate easily in the future, which is why refactoring code should be a daily task aimed at improving the maintainability and scalability of the product. Being able to make these changes requires that the code is well-tested, which is why I implement practices like TDD and pair programming, to work collaboratively and focus the design on testing behaviors.
