My name is Diego, I am currently a third year Computer Science student at the University of Delaware, in Newark, Delaware. I am a part of the Resource to Inspire Successful Engineers (RISE) program at UD as part of my pursuit of my degree which falls under the College of Engineering. As a computer scientist, my passion stems from always being surrounded by technology growing up and the everlasting curiosity about the world and the way thing's function. I have always understood the necessity and power that technology has had in today's world, which continues to motivate me to pursue my degree. I am interested in Networking and the Security field, as I hope to work as a Network Engineer however I am always open to learning about different industries. I am currently working on getting my ISC-2 Cybersecurity Certification and will continue to develop my skills in hopefully pursuing my CCNA in the future.
