The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for the assessment and alleviation of human problems in individuals, families, groups and communities. The Mental Health Clinician provides services to individuals of all ages and will be required to work with single individuals, families and groups within a First Nations cultural and socioeconomic setting. Therapy service areas may include: Trauma, Anger, Spirituality, Parenting, Abuse, Confusion, Stress, Grief, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Dissociation, Substance Abuse and Addiction issues.

Responsibilities • Provide psychological support• Establishing guiding for the counseling of the community • Identification and monitoring of students emotional needs • comprehensive treatment plan of those who students referred • Information and support program and guidance for parents• Implementation of multidisciplinary treatment (i.e: interaction with neurologists, psychiatrist, psychologists, and other therapeutic specialist). • personalized follow Plan up on referrals • Supporting the tutoring department and discipline department. • Admission Process of incoming students and new staff members• “Sociographic Project, a model for social integration”• Revision of current academic curriculum. Review of bimonthly and final exams by department• Supervision of the academic standards and procedures within the class room• Monitoring our staff to meet with the appropriate compliance with the internal regulations of academic excellence• Oversee the implementation of the operational assignation program (class programing)• Direct observation and supervision of classroom • Detect and analyze the needs that arise from the academic activities and provide support to achieve resolution • Facilitate monthly meetings with teaching staff in order to ensure academic goals are reached• Teacher’s evaluations, supplementary activity review and approval• Assessor in the recruiting process of potential teaching staff candidates
