- Help undergraduate and graduate students form and refine pitches- Oversee process of gathering and interviewing sources, researching and writing news stories- Edit online articles for grammar, prose, clarity and factual accuracy; publish all articles to Annenberg Media website- Work in tandem with Annenberg TV News and Annenberg Radio producers to coordinate coverage for the day

-Produce multiplatform stories for the USC student body of 44,000, plus staff and faculty, alumni and the -South L.A. community-Use Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and Photoshop for content on the website and YouTube channel-Pitch and takeover news stories, interview sources and fill in gaps for same day publication-Develop and maintain sources within and outside the USC community-Cover in-depth stories about politics, USC news, health and wellness and sports

-Responsible for organizing 10 plus journalists and staff-Oversee and plan pitches, newsroom guidelines and fact sheets-Edit online articles for grammar, prose, clarity and factual accuracy-Work with student journalists to produce important articles about the USC and South L.A. communities-Guide new journalism students with their writing process and source gathering
