Manager – Global Business Development ◆ Strategic PartnershipsSalvatore Ferragamo Italia Spa 1993 - 2000I joined Ferragamo in a role responsible for the worldwide (excluding the United States) cultivation of wholesale agreements, franchise agreements, and strategic partnerships. In this capacity, I identified, analyzed, and incubated new business opportunities, qualified and engaged potential partners, and led the negotiation of enterprise agreements and contracts. Notable achievements:►Working at the closure of Ferragamo’s franchise agreements, and in particular for Mexico and for the rapidly growing China market. This was a multi-phase agreement, enabling the eventual 100% corporate equity ownership of what would eventually become the company’s #2 global market.►Securing the joint venture in Switzerland with Brunschwig & Cie. Through this partnership we increased Ferragamo’s footprint from one to four retail locations and generated consistent 25% annual growth. I served at the joint venture’s management board.►Leading the search and successful negotiation for several stores in key markets across the European Union, and the development of the franchise agreements in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
