My name is Diego Stecchi, I am a creative and result-oriented marketing and operations executive with a consistent history of accelerating P&L performance, increasing mindshare, and enhancing consumer affinity within both established and emerging markets for some of the best-known, well-loved brands in the CPG and luxury sectors. This was accomplished through the negotiation of a partnership to open several “Store Within A Store” locations at El Palacio de Hierro department stores and five additional branded stores.►Establishing Brazil as highly viable retail market for Ferragamo by transitioning from franchised operations to four corporate-owned store locations better aligned the company’s brand vision and execution.►Enhancing Ferragamo’s brand synergies and revenues through a strategic travel retail expansion, opening corners and “Shop in shop” in duty free venues in key markets across LATAM.►Boosting brand recognition within the core high-net-worth demographic through in-store fashion shows, trunk shows, and charitable programs generating foot traffic and public relations.►Building a high-performing team with a pipeline of emerging global leaders.

    I joined Ferragamo in a role responsible for the worldwide (excluding the United States) cultivation of wholesale agreements, franchise agreements, and strategic partnerships. In this capacity, I identified, analyzed, and incubated new business opportunities, qualified and engaged potential partners, and led the negotiation of enterprise agreements and contracts. Notable achievements:►Working at the closure of Ferragamo’s franchise agreements, and in particular for Mexico and for the rapidly growing China market. This was a multi-phase agreement, enabling the eventual 100% corporate equity ownership of what would eventually become the company’s #2 global market.►Securing the joint venture in Switzerland with Brunschwig & Cie. Through this partnership we increased Ferragamo’s footprint from one to four retail locations and generated consistent 25% annual growth. I served at the joint venture’s management board.►Leading the search and successful negotiation for several stores in key markets across the European Union, and the development of the franchise agreements in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
