Diego Torrado is an award-winning actor, writer, director, editor, cinematographer, filmmaker, musician and stand-up comedian based in Chicago, Illinois. He has been working as a professional videographer and actor for 10 years. Currently, he stars in and produces content for NBC, Adult Swim, Chicago Cubs, Banner Videos, A Red Orchid Theatre, The Second City, Zanies, Bull Durham, The Cut Buddy, Laugh Factory, Walworth County Government, Tompkins County Government, and other companies. He does just about everything in the field of content creation and entertainment media from corporate recruiting videos to cinematic short films. He can operate camera equipment, sound equipment, schedule call sheets, write scripts, edit videos, you name it! He is the recipient of the Best Youth Performance award (Buffalo Niagara Film Festival) for his performance in Hens and Chicks. He is represented by Gray Talent Group. He graduated with Honors from DePaul University, receiving a BFA in Film with a concentration in Screenwriting. In 2018, he received the Stage 18 Membership Award from The Second City Film School. His upcoming short film 'Bathroom Boy' premiered at the Falcon International Film Festival in London, England, and won the Best First-Time Director Award and Best Micro Budget Award. He prides himself on being a great collaborator who puts efficiency and creativity above all else.
