Title: Effects of Granularity of High-Critical-Temperature Superconductors on the Macroscopic Electrical Response of Volumetric Samples for the Preparation of Superconducting Wires.The general objective of this research was to verify the effects of heat treatment and chemical substitution on the granularity of the superconductor BSCCO through the electrical Macroscopic response of volumetric samples, as an indication of the potential application of these samples in superconducting wires and tapes.Based on the results obtained during the research, it was concluded that the samples submitted to a heat treatment at higher temperatures showed improvements in morphological properties (increased critical temperature and better connectivity between grains) and inferiority in electrical properties.
