CurrentMember of the Technology Development group, I develop engineering solutions to enable the Automation and Digitalization of the company portfolio. Main tasks include:- Design Operational Technology (OT) networks for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS).- Engineer connectivity solutions for Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS) to align with industry and customer cybersecurity standards and requirements.- Design Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA).- Design HMI screens and scripts in VBScript, and C.- Advanced SQL Database generation and manipulation.- PLC Programming in Ladder Logic (LAD), Structured Control Language (SCL), and Functional Block Diagram (FBD).- Create, develop, and maintain software design documentation such as control philosophy, flow charts, cause and effect matrix, I/O list, pseudo code, etc.- Specify and select equipment in accordance with all projects specific requirements and relevant code requirements (Controllers, network components, instrumentation, valves, motors).- Design and test in shop and field the designed hardware and control system.- Prepare P&ID’s, power and network drawings for conceptual ideas prior to the detailed design phase.- Assume technical leadership in problem studies leading to recommendations to upgrade or improve existing or new equipment, making use of technical knowledge and training.- Resolve questions concerning non-conforming products include remote support.
