• As an intern at Freedman Seating Co, my duties vary widely. The highlight of my experience here so far is a bus seat design currently being used in a new line of buses for a DDOT contract with Proterra Inc. Aside from.
• Created, updated, and revised over 300 engineering drafts per Standard Operating Procedures as needed- including proper assembly instructions in designs with over 100 components, detailed mechanisms, and weld callouts..
• Executed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Simulations on designs to estimate quality of products prior to prototyping, as well as preparing and streamlining these prototypes through a government accredited test process.
• Managed various updates on older product lines, helping reduce long term costs in both materials and manufacturing time.
