As a member of IrSOLaV, I have been involved in projects of solar resource and forecasting in Spain, Morocco, India, Chile, Guatemala, China and other countries worldwide.Main activities at IrSOLaV:- Projects management.- Solar Resource Assessments.- Estimation of solar radiation from satellite images. Based on Heliosat-II model.- Prediction of solar radiation based on a statistical downscalling model, fed with global prediction model GFS (NOAA).- Plants audits based on SAM (Solar Advisor Model).- Quality analysis of ground measurements.- Generation of typical meteorological years.- Generation of radiation maps with GIS layers.

- Study of Radiative, Dynamic and Energetic processes in Earth Atmosphere.- Anaylisis of infrared emission of Earth atmosphere observed by MIPAS/Envisat instrument at middle and upper atmosphere.- Retrieval of temperature profile in the middle atmosphere from CO2 15um emission.- Retrieval of temperature and nitric oxide abundance in the thermosphere from NO 5.3um emission.- Characterization of retrieval errors, and validation and comparison of the results with measurements from other instruments and model outputs, respectively.
