In detail, it was seen that the success of the final product is related to parameters sush as temperature, pressure and timing depending on the stage considered. In particular, dehumidification, conditioning, and stretch blow molding turn out to be crucial. The dehumidification process of PET (polyethylene and terephthalate) must be carried out completely and without errors otherwise the containers will result white opaque instead of transparent. Secondly, the conditioning phase turns out to be fundamental for achieving a correct temperature profile in the preform in order to obtain the correct distribution of thicknesses during the blow molding phase, this in order to avoid finished bottles to be punctured. Among the aspects not covered but that will surely be interesting for future outlets is defenitely the issue of R-PET, i.e., recycled material. In normal production there is in fact a large amount of waste material as a result of any downtime or in the case of simulative testing, such material represents a resource certainly to be exploited. In fact, the company has recently begun to adopt for the production of bottles, R-PET material, i.e., PET recycled in a mechanical and/or chemical way.
