Diego started his professional career early during his bachelor´s degree in Civil Engineering working as an intern for the largest Brazilian building company in 2011, MRV Engenharia. Diego has performed an academic exchange program in the USA with a full scholarship provided by CAPES/CNPQ and Fulbright. After he returned to Brazil, he was hired as a Project Engineer Trainee at Estilo Real Estate Development, a local construction company, where he introduced new procedures, technologies, and software solutions for the optimization of the projects. He worked as a Project Engineer/ Estimator in Houston, TX, at Ceres Environmental Services, a large Heavy Civil Contractor specialized in disaster relief and large infrastructure projects. Diego has worked on the construction of the largest detention basins in Houston, Kuykendahl and Glen Forest, both estimated at U$63 million. He was also in charge of closing the Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Operations in Houston with the Houston Solid Waste Management Department. Diego has participated in many heavy civil bid solicitations including federal projects with the USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers) specifications. He is an expert on MS Excel, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyJob, HeavyBid, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.Today, he has become a BIM Specialist and he is the BIM Manager of VIEW BIM Technology, the company he founded and is a partner.Diego is passionate about BIM technology, innovations, construction automation, and programming.
