During my PhD research I assisted lecturers in modules involving practical sessions. These included: Software Verification, Systems Validation, Programming (I and II), Computer Architecture, Mathematics for Computer Sciences, Semantics of Programming Languages, Cryptography, Systems Environment and Software Engineering.

Verification of functional properties of a tracing garbage collector algorithm using rely-guarantee.

Total is a company that provides logistic and commerce solutions for other business. These solutions are regularly updated to reflect changes in tax regulations and new demands from their clients. As a consultor, my role was to improve their software development process. I introduced continuous integration into the company to minimise the time spent on activities that could be automated. Additionally, I trained the employees on how to take advantage of static analysers to assess aspects of the companies’ codebase that were not under assess before.
