Current• Design and produce plan sets and exhibits of various civil engineering disciplines, including transportation, hydrology and hydraulics, underground utilities and urban planning using design guides and specifications of different cities and counties.• Lead meetings with city and county engineers to review all plan set and project manual submittals (60%, 90% and 100% submittals) to finalize projects and minimize amount of change orders during construction• Validate quantities on plan sets by performing digital QTO’s using Bluebeam program to create accurate cost estimates for the project bidding process.• Monitor and provide responses to RFI’s, change orders, and as-builts for projects undergoing construction• Manage and maintain communication with subconsultants (Survey, Geotech, Architect etc.) throughout the submittal process with emails and scheduled meetings to avoid possible change orders and ensure project construction withing schedule.• Lead pre-construction meetings with contractor, subconsultants and city/county officials to explain and answer project specific questions and ensure smooth transition to construction of project
