Logistics Analyst
Current- Offer good service to customers in the area of the consumer sales segment and to dealers as well.- Research for the parts that the customer needs in https://parts.cummins.com/ or quickserve website using the serial number provided by the customer.- Responsible for assigned customer accounts for the entire order life cycle (from new customer setup, order entry/modification, escalations; responsibilities might include logistics management) to ensure orders are shipped to agreed deadlines.- Act as the single-point-of-contact to Cummins' customers, parts distribution centers and/or manufacturing plants and cross functional departments to process and fulfill customer orders; providing accurate documentation and continual communication to customers throughout the process.- Managing Cummins parts and returns email. Solving problems like discrepancies, shortages and for returns issuing the return merchandise authorization and following up.- Inspect returns, issue credits and return to stock.- Sourcing parts from other branches or from the factory to solve customers’ engine downs.- Enter data into a database or other computerized system like BMS to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records.- Retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.).- Performs other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile and inventory records.- Inventory Management Projects
