Poligno was a codenome for a B2B Hybrid (Html5+JS with native Android/iOS webview) white label application for educational purposes to present interactive PDF content with dynamic widgets; Moderna, Sulamérica and Pitágoras were some of the companies which uses Poligno for their students/employees.Lumis has a portal product called Lumis Portal, as the startup/mobile era rises they wanted to enter this market making a startup inside to build Poligno solution as SaaS;There were 5 teammates with different skills and I was hired to help them to move from jQuery spaghetti code to AngularJS as it can scale and be more maintainable;A new version of Poligno was built with only HTML5 content and with focus on B2C, it’s called essia and Poligno has been deprecated and is now a legacy code used for some B2B customers, Lumis still support them with bugfixes;My role was architect, develop and maintain all Javascript from the frontend;I needed to:Learn AngularJS and design patterns like MVC, SOLID and apply them to the project;Take some architectural decisions with my leader;Create and maintain frontend side of the project that was shipped with the native app;I achieved some great results over there:Built grunt tasks as a build tool to generate the customer theme for the white label project, minify and compress code and images;Installed bower as a package manager and improve the maintenance of libraries;I made use of an angularjs virtual scroll that reuses book pages so it dries out DOM, speeding up scroll and reducing memory usage; AngularJS, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Bootstrap, Grunt, Bower, SublimeText, MacOSX
