As an IBM consultant inside Banco do Brasil product: Agrobot I'm responsible alongside my coworkers and friends for our microsservices architecture backend and our mobile application Agrobot, it includes - but not limited to: developing new features, fixing bugs and deploying of the backend through a Jenkins + Kubernetes + Docker pipeline, which I interact weekly, and deploying our app through App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android devices, use monitoring tools such as Grafana with Prometheus database for performance metrics and a event based BI application called "Painel do Gestor". Although it looks a lot to do, the team have grown in number and capacity, so we are well splited between the job to avoid "islands of knowledge".

mainly in the backend of a chat application using NodeJS with Socket.io, I was responsible for ensuring the asynchronous communication between the Itau's client with the support team through the Itau's internet banking app. We were also migrating from an monolithic architecture to a more modern microsservices one using alongside of our microsservices the core AWS services, such as EC2, Lambda and Cassandra Namespaces. In the frontend I was responsible for the support's team interface when approaching the client, and it's history screen, where we used AngularJS.

My responsibility varies by day, usually I atend the online clients by phone and online sales platforms, make any transportation and shipping, handle other workers that we had working with us, go at the site of a client to better understand he's needs, manual labor such as craftsmanship was also very needed, and a bunch of smaller tasks. The independency that you have when making a small business is fun, and working with people that you love and respect is even better.

In a four week period we were able to release a new version of our mobile app made with Ionic 3, this new version fixed 16 bugs and added 7 features. Me being responsible for the full mobile application solution, I created some basic CRUD operations in Java to integrate with Apache CouchDB and added some error handlers in other endpoints to avoid future bugs. When needed, I also fixed bugs in our legacy JSP website and refactored our API entrypoints to make the whole monolith more modular and easy to work with.
