I joined ongoing research that measured the complexity in brain and heart waves to find correlations between measurements and memory performance. Some of my responsibilities were:- Developed MatLab and Python scripts to do mathematical analysis of +1M data points from electrical heart recordings from +80 students- Performed an HRV (heart rate variability) analysis of the 24hr heart measurements.- Extracted data from different tables to discover the desired mathematical measurements such as SDNN, pn50, SD1, and SD2.

I worked with a team of four students setting up an experiment to analyze the nonlinear dynamics of zebrafish hearts. Some of my accomplishments in my research role were:- Managed +10K budget to buy instruments and was responsible to test and create a user documentation- Managed the DAQ (Data Acquisition) instrumentation and created LabVIEW programs responsible for collecting, transforming, and analyzing heart electrical signals- Analyzed the collected data and learned how to use Matlab and Excel to extract and plot the desired information from our experiments.

• Self-taught Linux and Molecular Dynamics software and applications suing mulit-level parallelization• Used C/C++ to set up MD simulations of peptides using Gromacs in Palmetto Supercomputer• Discovered changes in the structure of peptides affinity with cerium during the analysis of the simulations
