At McKinsey, I worked with a financial services provider to add a new credit product to its offering. I accessed the profiles and performance data of 200 branches to determine a control group for a pilot run. I went to the field to understand the perspectives of customers and competitors. I partnered with sales force personnel across the country to ensure that sales processes were running well and that senior management had the right visibility of the insights and metrics of the pilot run.I have also helped to design and pilot the platform and the client experience of a new banking concept for low income clients, the learnings from the project made very clear this highly profitable segment needed more focused offerings than the ones available in the market and that low-cost bare bones offerings were not the clear path to success, so we refreshed and refocused the approach to serve this market.
