Environmental consultant, part of the microclimate team, I was delivering building wind assessments and DSO studies (Daylight, sunlight, overshadowing).As for the wind assessments, our main objective was to determine the impact of the proposed development on the pedestrian level wind environment of the site and its surroundings, and also determine the level of compliance with the recommended standards.My role on wind assessments was:· Build 3D computer models for simulations· Analyse the wind behaviour in the area· Deliver preliminary / final reports· Analyse CFD results· Advise on optimization measures / mitigation measuresAs for the DSO assessments, my role consisted on:· Build 3D computer models for simulations· Study of the building impact (internal / external) according to british / european standards· Deliver preliminary / final reportsApart from the usual wind/DSO assessments I usually invested some time on learning about new topics or developing new processes that improved the quality of our work or earned us some time.

Management of claims for different insurance companies preparing expert reports.
