Looking back on the dusty and disruptive war cloud that was my career as a Navy SEAL, I am honored to have been one of the very few mortals serving alongside America's greatest superheroes in The Teams. Though scarred and weathered, I stand now with a triumphant smile. A 20-year career forged in shortcomings, failure, growth, and finally, success, has become the root system of who I am and has left me with a visceral sense of deep humility and a profound feeling of gratefulness to those who mentored and sharpened me along the way. Thanks to them, I finally embarked on the most significant mission of my life, to find my True Self. After years of inward work, growth, and continuing development with psychedelic therapy, meditation, and other mind medicines, I know who I truly am and I am grateful for this chosen path in continuing to serve others pursuing Consciousness in Leadership and Flow In Teams with The Trident Approach. At The Trident Approach, it is our mission to hold space with other fellow mortals to see them stand VICTORIOUS in the center of the ring of their personal and professional lives by illuminating their true path towards a purposeful and meaningful existence in this life. We do this by combining the best of what we learned with our time in the SEAL Teams along with our deepest insights into the mind and connecting to the human spirit providing a fuller-spectrum approach to elite-level leadership and team performance. In addition to The Trident Approach, I founded Warriorside, a unique platform where Navy SEALs and Special Operations Veterans share raw, powerful stories of resilience and connection. Through unfiltered storytelling, Warriorside is designed to inspire others to reconnect with their own inner strength and each other. In a world that feels increasingly divided, Warriorside aims to bridge gaps, build trust, and rekindle the warrior spirit within us all. We provide these veterans, who have often exhausted all of the resources offered by the Department of Veteran Affairs and don't know where to turn, with education about and access to these alternative healing modalities. Senior Chief Petty Officer Us NavyNaval Special Warfare May 2003 - May 2018Coronado, Ca, UsDeployed three times to Iraq in various leadership roles training and advising my teammates, support personnel, and Iraqi Special Operations Forces conducting over 500 clandestine missions resulting in the capture of hundreds of enemy insurgents and tens of thousands of pounds of improvised explosives meant to attack countless US and Iraqi forces. Served as a Lead Engagement Officer for 5 NATO special operations partners conducting 25 strategic initiatives, managing 1000 American and partner nation personnel, as well as creating and managing associated budgets totaling over $6 m, enhancing global security, and promoting counter terror cooperation across Europe. By far the best part of this job was the relationships I was able to develop from the low ranking military member to the highest levels of members of Department of State and Department of Defense of several of our European Allies. Deployed overseas as the Cross-Functional Team Senior Enlisted Advisor leading a diverse group of professionals in operations against Revisionist and Terrorist States further securing the long-term security and stability in southern and eastern Asia. -

I loved being a paramedic because it fulfills a great need in me that I want to be there for people when they need me the most. From the homeless drug addict in Brockton, MA to the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, I was honored and obliged to be a part making lives better and letting others know that a complete stranger could actually care about their wellbeing. -

It's been so long since I've worked here but I still keep in touch with my partners in crime because we were so close. Once the shift ended, we either stayed after hours hanging out or went to someone else's apartment to continue the party. That's what was great, working was actually like being at a party with friends. We also started a band of which I was the lead singer and we were able to play on stage there as well as in The Cavern Club in the basement. WHICH- was lined with the actual bricks from the location in Liverpool that The Beatles cut their teeth on the local music scene. What a great opportunity to do the job and be with some of the best co-workers I've ever had. Lessons learned- MAKE IT FUN TO BE AT WORK- TREAT EACH OTHER LIKE LONG LOST FRIENDS -
Hospital CorpsmanUs Navy Aug 1992 - Mar 1997Washington, Dc, UsI joined the Navy to do one thing- Become a SEAL. There is too much to get into here on my journey to even get to the training but once I finally did- I failed. I was in Basic Underwater Demolition/ SEAL (BUD/S) class 199 for four months before they dropped me for performance. How disheartening it was to be there for so long with nothing to show for it. In total, I went to boot camp in San Diego (now closed), Hospital Corpsman (HM) school in San Diego (now closed), served as an HM in the Labor and Delivery ward in Oakland Naval Hospital (now closed) where I met my wife 22 years ago and counting! I also worked in the Emergency Room there and became an EMT before I went to BUD/S. From there I served as a "Doc" for 2nd Battalion 1st Marines and 1st Combat Engineer Battalion in Camp Pendleton, CA. What an honor to be a small part of that Great Brotherhood. My last command was at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton before I transitioned to civilian life. So many lessons learned, great friendships forged, and life experiences I will never forget.
