Working on the technology stack for a low-frequency statistical arbitrage trading team.

I provide guidance on the technical aspects of their website and e-commerce projects. I also developed a former version of their website using the Vue web front-end framework.

- Worked for the team that builds tools and systems for the institutional trading desk using OCaml.- Worked on full-stack changes for, and interactions between, systems involved in order managementand execution. Incl. RPC protocol design, production deployment, unit and integration tests.- Gathered requirements and discussed UI/UX and technical limitations directly with users.- Received training on OCaml, advanced functional programming concepts, performance optimization,incremental computation, and securities trading fundamentals.

Worked on high-throughput distributed systems written in C++. Conducted 19 interviews for software engineering candidates.TCube team. January 2019 - May 2020, SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Level 4)• Worked on TCube, an on-disk, distributed time-series database that stores historical debugging information. C++.• Used Flume (Googe's alt. to Apache Beam) to write batch data processing pipelines.• Analyzed, documented, and fixed bugs for a multi-threaded transaction serialization engine.• Added features and fixed bugs on a high-throughput ingestion pipeline.Monarch Team. March 2017 - December 2018, SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Level 3)• Worked on Monarch, an in-memory monitoring service / distributed time-series store. C++, Python.• Designed and implemented various features in the periodic precomputation and alerting component of Monarch. This component processes over 2M points per second per instance.• Designed an sensitive online migration procedure involving time smearing. Another engineer implemented my design, successfully deprecating a critical portion of Google's production incident alerting infrastructure.

- Worked on the Skia Graphics Library, the open-source graphics renderer powering Google Chrome, Android, Mozilla Firefox and others.- Modified the GPU rendering pipeline to allow for algorithmic generation of normal maps at the shader level, using dynamically generated GLSL.- Used this modified pipeline to develop a GPU-accelerated bevel effect.

- Developed an application for the Bloomberg Terminal to display network topology and statistics- Wrote front-end and back-end code using proprietary frameworks in JavaScript and C++, achieving quality, unit-tested code that was deployed to production.- Managed software lifecycle with the Agile methodology, and held meetings with the users to prioritize functionality.

- Used the Scala functional progamming language and the Play web framework to develop a monitoring panel that displays data from a MongoDB database in real time. Developed asynchronous front-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.- Found and fixed bugs in the core product’s codebase, also a Scala / Play application.- Scripted automated tests for clients' iOS and Android apps using Ruby and the Calabash testing framework.
