Riverland will act as the Hub, welcoming all visitors to the attraction boasting no less than three separate theme parks (motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai). Key staff for the RD+E included, Khalda El Jack (Saudi Arabia), Sruthy Sukumaran (India), Natalia LIzarraga (Argentina), Michael Wiegmann and John Roberts (both US). In concert with Laith Wark's team at Verdaus Landscape Architecture, and working at a break-neck pace, this wonderfully diverse and talented team developed a successful conceptual design for the architecture and urban design for large and vital "urban" hub. ArchitectTodd Lee Clark Rozas 1988 - 1995I worked for Todd Lee and Santiago Rozas on two separate occasions; just out of graduate school and then returning in the mid-90’s. Working as Mr. Lee’s Second for Design Development, I was also Project Manager for projects that include:- Sheraton Boston Hotel & Towers Restoration; Boston, MAA top-down restoration of the hotel located in the 1964 Prudential Tower, the 2nd-tallest building in Boston designed by Charles Luckman and Associates- Doubletree Suites - Times Square; New York, N.Y. Renovations to this existing hotel on Times Square- Zinc, Restaurant; Boston, MAConceptual design for an elegant, up-scale bistro in Boston’s Back-Bay- Gleneagles Resort @ Lake Placid; Lake Placid, New York. I assisted in the planning and design for Gleneagles Development’s ambitious revitalization and expansion of the historic Lake Placid Club on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, New York. Created in 1895 by Melvil Dewey (inventor of the Dewey Decimal system) it had been instrumental in Lake Placid's development, becoming an internationally-known resort that, by the 1980’s, had fallen on hard times. Arson, unfortunately, brought the demise of both the redevelopment project and the Lake Placid Club itself. The final buildings that remained were demolition in 2002.
