PIPELINE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS – SHAWCOR LTD. – Houston, Texas 2016 – 2020 Manager, Finance & Reporting • Managed North America products region’s accounting function and supervised a staff of four team members.• Led monthly, quarterly, and annual closing, including preparation, analysis, and consolidation of balance sheets, cash flow, and supplemental reporting packages and data requests, including consolidation and elimination entries.• Led consolidation and closing processes to pass system edit checks and intercompany issues while analyzing financial information and ensuring accuracy of transactional accounting.• Managed the product group consolidation of monthly financial results, monthly forecast, and annual business plan. Validated locally entered inputs for the various business units and reconciled between reporting in Longview7 with local IFS GL or Sub-ledger. • Ensured appropriate internal controls were in place and in line with local statutory laws and IFRS and critically examined potential issues where financial risks and opportunities may have been drawn out.• Led cross-functional projects to drive simplification throughout the organization and to improve rigor and discipline in key finance processes, reducing costs and improving profitability.• Oversaw bad debt reserve, accruals, and provisions discussions and analysis.• Ensured financial controls were in place and effectively met financial control objectives, including Bill 198 compliance and IFRS.• Maintained chart of accounts and performed other administrative duties for general ledger and consolidation systems.• Reviewed account reconciliations for compliance with established criteria and overall quality.• Assisted in maintaining current systems and developed process improvement initiatives, including systems deployments (IFS – single instance).• Led credit reviews standardization initiative and ensured 100% compliance.

Managed the quarterly balance sheet review process.• Managed ongoing improvements and initiatives to the global Longview 7 consolidation system, including design, test, and implementation. Performed local administration duties for Longview 7.• Oversaw monthly and annual reporting process for both corporate and external auditors and complied with reporting requirements for both GAAP and IFRS.

• Led ongoing technical improvement initiatives with respect to the global Bredero Shaw Khalix consolidation system, including design, test, and implementation. Ensured system quality and accuracy. Oversaw daily maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades to the system.• Analyzed actual financial results and identified variances from both annual business plan and prior monthly forecasts. Communicated results to leadership teams at Corporate office in Toronto and Bredero Shaw division office in Houston. Advised senior financial and operating management of appropriate corrective action needed. Kept management advised of variances in reports from the various divisions.• Managed input process for global Bredero Shaw Khalix consolidation system (actual, forecast, business plans), including validation of business unit input and reconciliation, as required. Oversaw record management from the Khalix system.• Produced financial reports for use by both senior financial and operating management in monitoring division operating performance. Designed and produced new reports, as circumstances dictated. Implemented new reports into the Khalix system and tested for performance accuracy.
