At Academir, I teach 5th grade mathematics. My primary duties include planning lessons, teaching and assessing student performance according to grade-level standards, and remediating as necessary.

As an Upper School Teacher at Killian Oaks Academy, I primarily work with students in grades 6-12, teaching all middle and high school mathematics, science, and social studies subjects. At Killian Oaks Academy, the curriculum is individualized and customized per student, based on each student's individual needs and learning style. Each student receives the accommodations necessary to ensure their success and promote academic advancement, as part of Killian Oaks Academy's Mastery Learning Program. As a Teacher, apart from all duties typically involved, I also tutor. As a Tutor, I work with students one-on-one, identifying and targeting any and all areas of needed improvement, as part of their individualized curriculum and education plan. At Killian Oaks Academy, I also hold a position in Administration. I am the Department Head for the subjects I teach and I serve as the Upper School Guidance Counselor, as well as the administrator in charge of transcripts and assisting students with college entrance exams and applications, among other tasks.

In working with students as a Mathematics Tutor, I would reinforce mathematical concepts, target any areas of weakness, as well as prepare them for standardized exams. I would also always strive to empower each student to adapt an assertive attitude, motivating them to become confident and active learners.

As a Middle School Mathematics Teacher at Our Lady of Divine Providence, I worked with students in grades 5-8 in order to help strengthen their abilities in understanding mathematical concepts. With each student, I would identify areas of needed improvement and implement alternative teaching methods as necessary to facilitate student learning. I also facilitated work groups to improve students' interpersonal skills.

As a Personal Trainer, I provided guidance to clients regarding their fitness and nutrition. Based on the client's goals, as discussed in the initial consultation, I would offer proper nutritional habits and formulate a customized workout regimen for them to follow. I would then regularly supervise clients to ensure proper weight training and monitor their performance with detailed record keeping.
