Production- Work with vendors to develop and implement a production plan to achieve required ship dates keeping in line with vendor capacity / fabric & trim availability / DUER needs with a good serving of reality.- Communicate all relevant vendor requirements / their handicaps with internal departments in order to ensure that we set them / ourselves up for success with regard to on time and on quality delivery of finished goods. - Coordinate with in house & 3rd Party Quality Control Teams to visit and conduct in-line and final shipment audits.Sourcing - Support internal departments when sourcing for new partners for finished goods domestically and offshore.- Visit such facilities when travel permits - Ensuring that all vendors meet both internationally accepted social and environmental trade standards- On board, all new vendors to ensure a smooth transition- Help in negotiating costs with vendors - Negotiate with manufacturing and fabric mills to obtain best prices and payment terms- Monitor and maintain KPI's dealing with vendor performance with regard to shipping dates / quality / shipping variances etc..

ResponsibilitiesSourcing - Source new partners for finished goods domestically and offshore using available trade resources and existing personal networking and evaluate their capabilities for meeting RYU's design, quality and production needs- Visit such facilities when needed- Ensuring that all vendors meet both internationally accepted social and environmental trade standards- On board, all new vendors to ensure a smooth transition- Negotiate FOB / CMT costs with vendors to ensure maximize margins- Collaborate with Finance to ensure the best terms and payment plans for each factory ensuring healthy cash-flow and minimize unnecessary financing and other feesProduction- Develop and implement a production plan to achieve a strategic balance capability and capacity across all factories- Analyze seasonally and monthly factory capacity and plan to identify potential risks, ensuring a solid structure, quick lead times, vendor satisfaction while mitigating risk- Communicate / share vendor’s requirements regarding minimums, timelines and other criteria with the team for forecasting and planning purposes- Ensure finished good lead-times are minimized without affecting quality and reflective of in store dates- Manage production by ensuring all timelines are met by both RYU teams as well as suppliers and vendors- Coordinate with 3rd Party Quality Control Teams to visit and conduct in-line and final shipment audits.- Evaluate 3rd party audit reports and take actions based on same to ensure that only the highest quality garments meeting RYU’s quality standards are shipped from vendors.- Analyze vendor performance on an ongoing basis and take corrective / remedial action if required- Undertake travel to both domestic and offshore vendors when required to do

Responsibilities: Product Management / Sales / Merchandising / Inventory Control / Logistics Production Planning / Customer Service / Sales / Merchandising - Product Manager for Gap Inc., Eddie Bauer, Nordstroms, Levis Canada, Harley-Davidson, Costco Canada, Marks Work Wearhouse, OQOQO (Lululemon), Club Monaco, Aritzia amongst others.- Negotiating prices with International and Domestic suppliers and customers.- Daily correspondence with customers / suppliers and others.- Traveling worldwide to meet customers, suppliers and to attend Dealer Shows. - Merchandising and overseeing other merchandisers in PL Division. Purchasing / Inventory Control- In charge of all purchases for fabric and finished goods from worldwide suppliers and logistics therein for entire Private Label Division.- Negotiating prices, deliveries etc from worldwide suppliers.- Issuance of Purchase Orders / Letters of Credit.- Negotiation of freight rates for both international and domestic shipments.- Maintenance of raw material and finished good inventories and making arrangements for replenishment as required.Logistics- Production planning and loading of production lines.- Working with Production and other relevant departments within the company to ensure finished goods were shipped on schedule and to customer’s specifications- Receiving goods in system and creating pick and packing slips to enable invoicing of goods.- Creating invoices and following up with Accounts Dept. for payment follow up.- Managing staff in PL Division.

Merchandiser of shirts, jackets and custom orders for the "ID Wear, ID, International Denim" lines of apparel.Merchandiser for Private Label customers for in house production.Customer list - Gap Inc., Levis Canada, Nordstroms, Eddie Bauer, Polo, Club Monaco, Costco, Harley-Davidson, Marks Work Wearhouse, Aritzia, OQOQO amongst others.Coordinating garment production in Mexico (liason of shipments of fabric and trims, cutting, washing and shipping of finished garments back to Canada & US.Involved in international shipping logistics.

Responsibilities:- Overseeing the company’s purchases of garments from Sri Lanka including merchandising, quality control and follow up services with the relevant regulatory authorities.- Securing new suppliers for finished goods as well as for raw materials and allied service providers.
