For the past 30 years, Dietrich Busacker has contributed to the transformation of societies, policies, and human behaviour to create a more sustainable and democratic world, through his experience as an international development consultant, sociologist, and a visionary entrepreneur.30 years ago, Dietrich co-founded ECO-Consult, one of the leading German development consulting companies for education, natural resources management, and decentralisation. After studies in Bielefeld and Berlin Dietrich worked for the German development cooperation in Western Africa. Since then, he has been responsible for numerous development projects and provided expertise on planning, participation, project management, and impact assessment for organisations like GIZ, the World Bank, the EU or WWF. In addition, Dietrich is a workshop facilitator, trainer, and coach for his teams. One of his major lessons from his 30 years’ experience working in Africa came from a chieftain in Chad. When the chieftain was asked what was the most important result of their 10 years of development collaboration, he answered “We have learnt to think differently”. Dietrich understands it is the mindset that transforms the world, and that people in developing countries should be met on eye-level instead of keeping them in victimhood as it is often the case. Using his 30 years of experience in intercultural context, inspired by the effectiveness of self-healing through embodi-mental imagination (SHEMI) and the teachings of modern transformational leaders, Dietrich developed the mission of a transformational company with Dr. Alexandra Kleeberg, a licensed psychotherapist, speaker, trainer, and author. It was then, eVision Publishing and Collective Healing Institute were created. Their vision is to bring the knowledge of Selfhealing to one billion people by 2040 so that they can gain back the power over their health. This mission will be accomplished by educating, supporting and empowering people to achieve optimal health by relying on the memory of their body and their mental forces, and to develop your full potential. The massive restrictions of democracy and fundamental rights during the Corona Crises opened Dietrich's eyes on the fragility and massive dysfunction of modern democracy. He strongly believes that for any solution we'll need more grassroot people’s participation together with a new ethic founded on freedom, limitation of power, mindfulness, and swarm intelligence. Consequently he joined the new Grassroot Democratic Party of Germany (dieBasis) in November 2020.
