Since October 2017, I have served as Chief of Staff and Advisor to three different Directors of the International Port of Cap-Haitien.Daily tasks and responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and coordinate all office activities while serving as the operational point person for the Port Director. This involves liaising with community stakeholders engaged in port operations, including port and maritime authorities, terminal operators, shipping lines, customs, and other agencies involved in goods clearance. - Oversee the port's daily operations for the Port Director, which includes staff management, task delegation, and coordinating activities. - Manage administrative duties such as correspondence, meeting scheduling, and document preparation. - Provide strategic advice to the Port Director by analyzing potential impacts and recommending solutions in implementing the ISPS code and other port management standards. - Serve as a key contact for external stakeholders, including government officials, industry representatives, and the media. - Draft speeches and all public communications on behalf of the Port Director.Project Management Tasks and Responsibilities: The most recent and significant project was the “Port of Cap-Haitian Renovation, a $ 24 million project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). On behalf of the Port Director, I was responsible for managing all project management duties, including: - Member of the project steering committee - Representing the Port Director at all project meetings - Managing the relationship between the port authority and other project stakeholders, including the project sponsor (USAID), the companies responsible for execution and supervision, and other actors in the Port community.

FinanceM is a microfinance startup in northeast Haiti that supports small traders in rural areas. It provides individual and non-solidarity group loans requiring minimal collateral. "FinanceM" is a business concept inspired by the Muhammad Yunus initiative in Bangladesh. I explored it while writing my final thesis in business administration in 2014, which focused on "the role of microfinance institutions in the development and growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in Haiti." Furthermore, after a series of training sessions organized by the National Association of Microfinance Institutions in Haiti (ANIMH), I was selected for an internship and worked four months as a loan officer at a microfinance institution. This experience allowed me to understand the sector and identify weaknesses in the approaches of the MFIs currently operating in Haiti. In the long term, with an innovative approach, FinanceM aims to establish itself in all ten geographical departments of Haiti, enhancing living conditions in the targeted areas through services and creating jobs. In addition to microcredit services, FinanceM provides savings services to the entire community, adopting an approach that facilitates transactions in response to numerous customer complaints about traditional financial institutions.

Accounting standards, management responsibility, and ethics. • The basics of mergers and acquisitions and the evolution of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).2. Management and Organizational behavior, focusing on: • Historicity of management and the profession of manager: schools of thought and theories. • Organization and its environment: PEST analysis, SWOT analysis, Michael Porter’s five forces…• Modern management; Management decision: types, processes, and approaches; The company and its environment. • The four sub-processes of the managerial cycle: Planning, organization, direction, and control; • Managers’ main skills: Interpersonal, decisional, and informational.• Characteristics of the individual: perception, values, ambitions, personality, and motivation, stress. • Groups: communication, conflict, power, leadership• Organizational culture and change: International and multicultural dimensions.
