•Responsible for fabric supply base management, establish contract agreements, monitor fabric supplier performance for on time delivery, quality and overall customer service.•Commercial negotiations with fabric mills in order to reduce fabric costs , transport costs, payment terms and currency exchange rates.•Develop strong relationships with fabric mills and internal stakeholders : R&D, Fabric Planning, Quality , Sourcing , Sustainability Environment & Health to implement new processes and procedures that support our Global strategy.•Maximise the use of the excess /obsolete fabric by negotiating with Brand the possibility to re-use in the main line ,the outlets line, or maximise the selloff value through a bidding process with licensees and jobbers.

•Responsible to deliver on time fabric to all the European cutting locations and secure long term capacities at the fabric mills.•Convert sales/production needs into mid and long term fabric requirements in collaboration with Sourcing, Production planning, Demand and Forecasting teams, taking into account agreed service levels while limiting the excess/obsolete fabrics.•Lead and implement new systems to better manage the procurement process (just-in-time, first-in-first- out concept, vendor managed inventory).•Manage a team of 6 persons to ensure deliverables are met and help them develop.

•Avoid sales loss in the USA market by co-ordinating in urgency the sourcing of garments for the USA market in the European manufacturing plants (France/UK/Poland and Hungary). From product specification, development, planning and purchasing of the raw materials, throughout the whole manufacturing and finishing processes till delivery of the garments to the United States.
