I worked as a volunteer Fullstack Developer for the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, OAU, where I single-handedly built three key projects to solve critical challenges:1. Event Ticketing and Notification SystemProblem: Managing attendance at large events was stressful, prone to errors, and easy to bypass. MSSNOAU needed a better way to track attendees and plan events.Solution: I built a dashboard that allowed authenticated users to create events and tickets. Each ticket included a QR code linked to an attendee and could be shared as an image or document and download or shared (WhatsApp or Email). At the event, users could verify tickets and mark attendance by scanning the QR code or entering the ticket ID. Result: MSSNOAU could effectively estimate attendance, plan events, and track participants. The system was used for campus-wide and regional events, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.2. Luggage Recording SystemProblem: Students often left luggage with MSSNOAU during holidays but tracking pickups and returns was chaotic, leading to confusion and delays.Solution: I developed a dashboard for volunteers to record pickups, issue return tickets, and track luggage status. It also logged pickup times, dates, and locations to ensure clear documentation.Result: The process became seamless. Students could easily retrieve their belongings using their tickets, and MSSNOAU operated the service smoothly without errors.3. Daily Post GeneratorProblem: The MSSNOAU Business Committee struggled to maintain visibility on WhatsApp due to having only one overburdened designer.Solution: I built a dashboard where users could search for posts by number, retrieve pre-stored WhatsApp-formatted text, and download auto-generated post images based on a single template designed by the graphic designer.Result: This solution eliminated the designer's workload and allowed the team to generate up to 150 posts effortlessly, boosting the committee's visibility and engagement.

- Conceptualized and developed the initial framework for a remote work platform tailored for African markets.- Utilized Svelte, SvelteKit, NodeJS, and TailwindCSS for frontend and backend development.- Managed all aspects of the project lifecycle, including coding, debugging, and testing.- Built company pages, job pages, email newsletter, employer dashboard, job recommendation, Telegram and WhatsApp bot, API endpoints for employers, Paystack and Flutterwave Integrations, one-time and recurring payments, role-based access for company employees, and a plenthora of other features.- Failed to launch due to lack of funding and not starting small. Getting 100% remote and timezone-restriction-free jobs takes a lot of money, or AI credit. Or both.- Learnt a lot, like not giving up on the job market, and not underestimating the value of sufficient funding. Also learnt the hard way that an MVP should be "minimum"🥲Currently stripping down the 120,000+ lines codebase into something more manageable for my mental health😂. Will be live soon hopefully
