The first Half Rez was held in October of 2011 in Chicago and was a huge success, attracting some of the best talents and bringing the midwest motion design community together for one night of speakers, drinks, and prizes. In 2017, I joined as a committee member to help grow the event. I also soon realized some of the challenges that come with putting on such a large event like Half Rez. Half Rez is now the largest midwest motion design conference, and we hope it continues to grow over time.Upon joining the board as a committee member, I helped launch the studio tours that take place on the day of Half Rez. These tours showcase some of the great companies working here in Chicago like Flavor, The Mill, Framestore, Daily Planet, Leviathan... I'm also now in the role of Head of Social Media for Half Rez. The goal is to build awareness across our primary social media channels to help build interest and showcase the talent in the Chicago motion graphics community.

Frequency Television is a combination of Columbia College Chicago’s TV Department faculty, staff and students who broadcast programming for the entire college campus. I was responsible for the entire graphical look of the station, on-air motion graphics and off-air print advertisements.

My duties as a Work-Aid for the Television Department were to assist students with computer and software questions, installation of software, and teaching assistant for graphic classes.
