Global NCAP has consultative status with the UN (ECOSOC), is a member of the UN Road Safety Collaboration and an observer at the UN World Forum for Harmonisation of Vehicle Standards. In 2016, Global NCAP received the Premier Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for outstanding achievement in vehicle safety.

TZF is a UK registered charity working internationally for safe and sustainable mobility. Programmes include Global NCAP, the Stop the Crash Partnership, Commonwealth Road Safety Initiative, the #50by30 and #MissionZero2050 campaigns.In 2020, the Foundation received the Premier Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for the #50by30 advocacy campaign.

The New Car Assessment Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean (Latin NCAP) offers to consumers independent and transparent information about the safety levels that car models have in the market.Since its launch in 2010, Latin NCAP has served as a unique force driving up vehicle standards and consumer awareness.
