Coaching-based leadership style which leverages goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-based (S.M.A.R.T.), to improve market share and customer base. Developing a well-trained sales staff that meets or exceed all sales quotas, increases market share and customer base while maintaining the highest ethical standards and observing Company policies and procedures. Acts as the primary reference to the team of sales counselors regarding the aftercare process, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing skills, prices, terms, paperwork, sales guideline questions, compliance issues, and delivery of customer service.Prepares reports demonstrating compliance with financial controls, including working within the budgetary allotment of the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens location. Reviews all contracts to insure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as approving all discounts offered by the members of the sales team. Oversees the prospecting program, referral collection, presentation execution, and activity levels of direct reports. Follows through on all escalated problems and requests of the families served in the Eastlawn (Central Virginia) office. Represents a continuous link from services provided at need, through aftercare, to providing services to protect families in the future.Collaborates and teams with funeral directors and location managers, with other members of funeral home and cemetery staff, to provide seamless, high quality service.Networks and builds community and civic relationships, and responsible for oversight of lead generation and the building of relationships with families while fostering an environment of Teamwork.
