My path in industry started in 2017 as R&D Engineer in Visage Technologies. One year later I was promoted in Team Lead, leading a team on ADAS topics. At the end of 2020, I have accepted a new challenge of leading multiple teams as Requirement Area Manager.I have finished PhD studies on Department for Wireless Communications at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in 2015, under the supervision of Professor Sonja Grgić. My research included digital image processing, digital image forensics, data analysis, machine learning and image quality evaluation methods. In 2013 and 2014 I have spent about seven months as a visiting researcher at Cardiff University, Cardiff, Wales, UK. During my visit I was working on the development of copy-move forgery detection algorithm under the supervision of Professor Paul L. Rosin and Xianfang Sun. As a postdoctoral reasearch, I have started the cooperation with Professor Thomas Kaiser at the University Duisburg Essen on terahertz imaging. In May 2017 I have started to work as R&D Engineer in Visage Technologies AB and have been promoted to Team Lead in 2019.While working on various projects I have gained a considerable amount of experience in the field of computer vision and data analysis, and have become very familiar with a variety of standard image processing techniques. I have been actively involved in various student organizations and educational workshops, which have helped to develop my teaching, leadership, organizational, and communication skills. I am an author of 19 scientific conference papers, three scientific journal paper, onebook chapter and editor of three editorial books.
