About Marlies Dijkstra

I'm a communications specialist and organic farmer. As a communications professional I commit myself to assignments and companies with a social intent. I feel the need to put my energy into spreading stories that need to be told. In September 2015 I started a professional education as biodynamic/organic farmer at Warmonderhof, Dronten (the Netherlands). Somewhere in the near future I hope to combine my skills as a farmer with my skills in communications.I have worked as a communications professional for various companies in the non-profit and profit sector, ranging from 20 to 2000 employees. I have worked for ngo De Gezonde Stad (The healthy City), publishing house SUN architecture, museum the Netherlands Architecture Institute, World Press Photo, the Dutch Central Bank, and the Ministries of Justice and of Social Affairs.
