I am currently a mechanical engineering student at the University of Twente, with a keen interest in design and manufacturing engineering. In addition to my bachelor's, I have broadened my academic horizons by completing a minor in education and communication in my bachelor's program.My current academic focus is on my master mechanical engineering with the specialisation in design and manufacturing. I just finished my bachelor's thesis, where delved into the static balancing of compliant mechanisms with spiral torsion springs. Beyond my academic pursuits, I actively engage in student life in Enschede. I have been involved in various committees at both the study association Newton and the student rowing association, contributing to my personal and professional development as a mechanical engineer.Maintaining a dynamic social and sporty lifestyle is crucial to me. I dedicate multiple sessions per week to training and enjoy participating in watersports such as sailing during the weekends. Sharing these experiences with friends and teaching them new skills brings me a sense of satisfaction and relaxation. Additionally, I find joy in tinkering with various projects, ranging from bicycles to boats to 3D printers and other technical ingenuity.
