Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization. Responsible for overall Customs compliance for the company and compliance guidance for clients and staff.

Oversees import and CHB processes and ensures compliance with US laws and regulations, as well as operations procedures. Responsible for compliance, training, record-keeping, and supervision of all CHB and import personnel.

Directs and manage the activities of the import department, ensuring all import activities; both transportation and CHB related are in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Help the organization's management with purchasing inventory, allocating resources, and forecasting future sales. Maximize an organization's production analyzing inventory statistics and perform financial analytics to determine which products are selling the most and which are under-performing. Coordinate with project managers and shipping supervisors to plan and schedule pickups of inventory items. Order inventory from vendors and document any inventory discrepancies, such as missing items.

Responsible of timely and efficient preparation and processing of import shipments on behalf of customers, while providing an excellent Customer Service to ensure a total satisfaction and complete transaction. Handling Import Customs documentation and coordinate all shipment logistics while maintaining compliance with all US Customs and Border Protection and other government regulations especially FDA and USDA.

Provides regulatory subject matter expertise to business units with new products, services, procedures, processes, and practices to support ongoing compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations for the organization (classification, valuation, quantity, origin declaration and Free Trade Agreement eligibility, monitoring documentation).
